Tax Fairness

The gang at the capitol has shown a disgraceful lack of leadership.   

Our State Constitution requires a balanced budget, but for the past nine months, our governor and legislature could not get one passed. When they finally did, they made Arizona families do the heavy lifting by raising sales tax.   

The governor and legislature then had the gall to propose using the new tax money to fund a billion-dollar giveaway for corporations. Goddard's leadership helped stop that, but it won't be surprising to see them attempt this again. What Arizona needs is real leadership that will focus on building our economy, cutting waste, and getting Arizona working again.  As your governor, that is what Terry Goddard will do.
